Jack O' Lantern

Tiana teaching Evan the ins and outs for pumpkin cleaning

He was very eager to learn and help

Although he was not crazy about the texture once he felt it on his hands, but it wasn't enough to stop him.

Here is the finished product.......turn the lights off mom!!!!

Much better.  Our 2010 Jack O' Lantern.

Yo Gabba Gabba!!!

Thanks to wonderful Grammy and Papa my sister and I were able to take or little babes to see one of their favorite shows LIVE at TPAC.

They were in awe...... Tiana even mentioned that she didn't think Evan was blinking at all because his eyes would not quit watering.  We had so much fun, it was even kinda sad when it ended we were having so much FUN!

I actually got him to look at me to snap a shot, although you can tel  he was not very pleased I was talking to him or the fact that I was trying to take his picture.

We acted silly and had a really good time!

Hailey wanted to eat the paper glasses rather than wear them/

Our Trip To Cherry Hill Farm

I know two blogs in one day....but I am behind.  I have been so busy at work I have not had any spare time.

Every year we try and make it to at least one Pumpkin Patch if not 2.  We have been to different ones over the years, but this year we started seeing signs for a new one in Dickson.  That was a plus!!  Being able to cut down on drive time always makes me happy.

So here it is our trip to Cherry Hill Farm. We were their first customers.  I always like to get a early start.

Tiana would have stayed on this slide the ENTIRE time if we would have let her.

Lots of stuff to do for the kiddos

Dad even took part in the activities.....he is a kid at HEART
The weather was perfect, not a cloud in sight

One day I am thinking he will say, look Dad that is when I was smaller then you.  Now your the little one.

My best friend ans sister Ashley and my sweet little niece Hailey.

They had crafts

Neat T Pees

Lots of stuff to do

We love spending time with our kids and enjoying the great outdoors!
We are so blessed.

So if you are looking for something to do and are close by it was nice.

Evan's First HairCut

So........... I could not bring my self to completely remove the curls because i am completely in love with them and he will just have to make that decision himself one day.  I did however take him to get his first haircut because it was becoming so long it wasn't curling very well.

Everyone in the Salon was cracking up, when I set him in the chair he leaned back and patted it like he owned the place

He really started liking it when Sandy gave him a sucker to keep him still.  it work GREAT.  Probably because he has never eaten a sucker before.  Pure sugar...... he was in HEAVEN!

He did so good.  Did not shed one single tear or even whimper the slightest.

The Dum-Dum sucker saved the morning and now my boy looks so HANDSOME!!

Look at that Face!!  i love it

Long Weekends are the BEST

Evan and my niece Hailey's First Trip to The Nashville Zoo (Tiana's count is to high to remember)
Don't they look excited.....well Tiana is smiling!
It was an amazing day and the weather was PERFECT!  Tiana has her hands full don't ya' think?
She loves every minute of it.....trust me. She was alone for almost 7 years.
Evan was more concerned about the sticker on the glass than the Meerkats running around in front of him.
He did finally start noticing they were alive and moving, then he was full of giggles!
It was an amazing day with the family.  It is nice to get an extra day to relax and have good quality family time, without the hassles that come along with the work/school week.

Look Up

After a very long day at work and reading an amazing blog about an amazing little boy, I headed on my journey home.  As I drove I thought about the story I had just read about a mother and fathers accounts on the day they lay their precious son to rest.  I shared the story with several co workers that afternoon.  I wanted to tell them how he has helped me and hoping that in his story they might find something they were looking for.  I feel the Holy Spirit with me now.......EVERYDAY.  It is something amazing and almost hard to describe.  I can tell you that it is an electrifying feeling.  I am so glad that Bane has helped me put my faith back were it needed to be.  Below you will see what was waiting for me at the end of my drive and if you haven't read the story yet maybe you will have time.  Just go here and read it for yourself, it will only take a minute..........................  I got a really nice big hello from one of his ANGELS.
